Der Hoff ist Gott

To those of us who grew up in the 90′s as teens, one show stood above all others in promoting the beauty inherent in the world.  Yes, I am referring to Baywatch.  There’s nothing quite like slo-mo sprinting down the beach by sexy lifeguards in red bikinis (though most everyone’s favorite was Pamela Anderson, mine was actually Donna D’errico).

But you know what?  The slo-mo bouncing of breasts in red (or yellow, in sexy Donna’s case) bikinis.  The American flag in the background representing the greatness of America?  That’s all irrelevant.  The TRUE star of the show, and the heart and soul of life-guards and germans everywhere….he is none other than David Hasselhoff.  No man could fill a pair of tight red shorts like this man.  And no other man since then has filled that void.  The Hoff is indeed a marvel of human engineering, Ein Gott unter Männern.
